HP classis May 20, 2008 Ann O'Nimmess (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent calculator. One thing I like about HP calculators is that the buttons aren't "mushy". This makes for accurate entry. Also the instruction book is very instructive, and the calculator recalls the last entry made even if you turn the power off.
HJP12C May 15, 2008 A. Young (Columbia, MD) I am very happy with my new 12C -- I lost my last one in the airport and was lost without it. Great product -- reliable and easy to use. Nice case but a little too bulky -- would have liked something simpler and thinner.
Love RPN, but need a calculator that won't break April 17, 2008 letshavepaneer (New York, NY USA) I LOVE RPN and this calculator is a good one when it comes to doing calculations. The downside is that it's not really well built at all. The CLx key, used very frequently, now requires a very hard push to get it to clear the screen. I called HP, and unfortunately, once it's out of warranty, they won't fix it, so this calculator is now one of the most annoying calculators I've ever had to use, pushing the CLx key hard every time makes me recommend that you skip this calculator and get something that is as reliable as the older HP's used to be.
Great Product March 25, 2008 Diego P. Garcia Hp12c is the best financial calculater. The 25th anniversary edition is the best of because the leader case that only this hp has.
HP-12C March 10, 2008 D. Hunt (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using an HP-12 since it first came out. (Before that I used an HP-8.) It does everything an old financial guy needs; mortgage calculations, discounted cash flows, etc. I was pleased to find that this calculator also has added algebraic functions. Nothing scarey and very helpful. Also, the HP is 'bulletproof' and its batteries last a very long time.
