This is a great software, no problem so far, working great in my Power Mac G4, Quicksilver.

2 out of 5 stars Too many bugs   September 15, 2008

Having owned PSE 6 for the Mac for over a month, I am still very disappointed with it compared with PSE 4. Time and again, I fall back on version 4 because I cannot get version 6 to do what I know it should be able to do. Among other disappointments, it has crashed several times for no apparent reason and will not open existing animated gifs, as PSE 4 does so easily. I would be happy to receive a refund on this product until (if ever) the bugs are worked out. To be sure, it has some new features that I like and that do work. For example, I find the backgrounds in "Content" are very useful to me. Overall, though, for someone who owns PSE 4 already, I would not recommend purchasing this product.

4 out of 5 stars Comprehensive Program for the Novice   September 15, 2008
Fred Hobson (Kansas)
I had been wanting a photo program to edit some digital photos, so I ordered Photoshop Elements 6. The product is very comprehensive and offers much more that I will probably ever use. After reading other Amazon reviews about the technical nature of the program and the fact that it comes with little in the way of written instructions, I bought the Missing Manual at the same time I ordered the program. It is a good photo editing program, but don't expect it to be intuitive in nature. Once I learn how to use more of its features I am sure I'll appreciate it more.

5 out of 5 stars As a retired pro, this is a good program for general use   September 9, 2008
John Edward Trtek (Concord, CA USA)
I am a retired visual and product designer. I was for over 30 years. I used Photoshop. Photoshop Elements 6 is no Photoshop, but it pretty close. If you don't need capabilities to do high end professional work, then this program will fit your needs in regards to photo enhancement, effects and etc. I use it all the time.

Dear Sirs,
The shipment was quick and arrived at my office ( Bogota Colombia) in 7 days.
The software was as I expected and helps to improve my digital pictures.
It was a pleasure to buy from you.
